Found capacitor on heat pump to be bad causing the compressor not to start. Cheacked refrigerant and vacuumed out drain line Ultimate Cooling Tune-Up: cleaned coils, brushed and cleaned traps, added pan treatment tablets to pan. tested and checked all controls, wiring connections. tested temperatures, checked filters. checked refrigerant temperature and pressures, tested static duct pressure. tested blower operation, tested cooling operation to ensure working within manufacturer specifications.

Replaced zone actuator on hot water boiler zone number three. Tested operation from thermostat. Selected high temperature for boiler to 180° from 160°. This will make the baseboard radiators get hotter faster.

Review
We had Comfort central install a new Mini-Split system in our cottage as well as service the existing unit in our house. On both occasions the workers were exactly on time despite the early hour. I am very technically minded so I could appreciate their professionalism, knowledge of the product (even before the sale was concluded) and neatness (shoe protectors, tarp on the ground, sweep after themselves and not a single scuff mark on the walls or the floor). In addition, they work very well as a team, even under very adverse conditions - South side in full sun on a 90 degree day - and they are every funny with each other yet most respectful with me, the client, answered every question thoroughly and knowledgeably. I recommend them without any reservation at all and, even though I could have possibly paid less elsewhere I am glad that I chose them.
